On February  16, 2009, Frank Stringfellow Camp members marched with the Sons of Confederate Veterans contingent in Alexandria's George Washington Birthday Parade.  Attendees this year included Claude Crump and his son, Bill Kendall, Mike Shumaker, Frank Soutuyo, & Kerry Worsham.  Two cavalry re-enactors led the SCV contingent, then came the 17th Virginia Infantry "Fairfax Rifles" (the color guard at our 2008 marker dedication), RE Lee Camp, some SCV from Leesburg, Frank Stringfellow Camp, then Maryland Division SCV color guard and artillery.  In all there were about 50 in the combined SCV unit.
